Econo Lodge Portland Downtown

We were safe in an area I could have been worried about - location is great! Close to waterfront and Portland State University. CLEAN and comfortable. Good TV, good bathroom, nice beds. The manager was very friendly and was available when we needed him. This was a straightforward, simple room that provided exactly what we needed. The price was very reasonable. No noise was evident. I did not bring a car, and I did not need one.

Stayed here while I went to an interview in Portland. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to accommodate for me. Furthermore, the location of this hotel is very convenient, located right next to a lot of great food trucks, einstein bro's, and groceries are easily accessible with a train or bus. The price was 100% worth it. I would give 10 stars if I could, and I will be back if I visit this area again.

Great little inexpensive motel. Safe location. Dave at the front deak was super nice. Small clean room. Mini fridge and good sized TV. Nothing fancy. Right across from an area with about 10 food trucks, which was awesome. Also, close to a busy road so noisy around 8 in the morning.

Giving this a 5 star review because this place is great for its price!! Obviously it's not a 5 star hotel but you get what you pay for. The managers were kind and helpful and the room was clean. The hotel is right next to a bunch of really good food trucks and you cant possibly get better parking in that part of the city (10$ a day). Definitely recommend staying here if you just need a clean comfy place to sleep at night!

Nice rooms with fridge and microwave. Bed is a bit too soft for my liking but not uncomfortable. Rick at reception was super helpful with lots of suggestions about things to do and see. Great value!

Best price for location. Cleaner than most. Many local grocery and eateries. Excellent customer service. Best bath I've ever had. Should be a 4 star motel!

This place is pretty good. It has all the necessary things like a mini fridge, microwave, wifi. Its everything I need for a decent price. This is located in the center of the city which is convenient. It also has a Middle Eastern food truck across the street and this is one of my favourite cuisines. I recommend ordering some extra food for later since nothing is open in the morning. The units are clean and the staff are responsive and helpful.

I was visiting family and was able to pay for the room with points since I travel for work and get to keep the points for personal travel. My family warned us that it's not in the best neighborhood. There were unhomed people camping in the area near the motel, but they kept to themselves. The room was immaculately clean and recently remodeled. The manager or owner was extremely helpful and polite. At checkout, we mentioned that the shower head was leaking and spraying water on the walls. He allowed us to leave our car while we ran errands and when we came back there was a maintenance person in the room fixing the shower. It's nothing fancy but it was clean, close to the area we wanted to visit and the service was flawless.
